IT ALL STARED WHEN...

My own journey as a surrogate took a few unexpected turns.  I know what it feels like when things “go wrong”.  To feel overwhelmed, and adrift in uncertainty is something I can relate to, and I know that despite those challenges, one can remain strong, persevere, and overcome.  I know that love is a POWERFUL thing that should not be underestimated, and it often can come from unexpected places and from people that you may not even realize want to advocate for you and lift you up.

My life experience has brought me a loving and supportive family, a university education, living in several different places within Canada and abroad, a happy marriage with four amazing kids, shifting career trajectories and so much more.  I have met so many beautiful souls within my lifetime, and I am so excited for what is coming next.  I don’t know what that is, but I am absolutely positive that it’s going to be great!

Something you should know about me is I am someone who has deep faith.  I believe that love, belonging and family should be, and is, available to everyone.  I believe that when things don’t work out the way we expect, it just means that God is letting us know that He has something better in mind.  Don’t give up.  Be patient and excited for what He has planned for you.  I promise, it’s going to be good.

Becoming a parent is hard.  It’s even hard when it’s easy, as the learning curve is steep, and it often feels as though we fumble blindly into it.  I have been blessed with the ability to conceive and bear my children easily.  This is the only thing that separates us.  I believe that those who “have” should fight for those who “have not”.  So, I want to work along side you and help you over the extra hurdles you’re facing, so that you can achieve the goal of becoming a parent too.

Cheers,

Ingrid
